Kuppinta plant has amazing health benefits and medicinal uses. From unwanted hair removal to the treatment of colds, coughs and skin problems, it has a wide range of uses. If there is one herb that we all need to know and use in our daily life for our healthy benefits and uses, it is the Kuppinta plant.

Botanical name for Kuppinta:

The botanical name for this herb is Acalifa indica and it belongs to the Euphorbiaceae family and belongs to the genus Alicalifa.

Common names for piles:

It is known as “Indian Reguta” in English, Indian Caliph, Kuppameni in Malayalam, Kuppigida in Kannada, Kuppikhokli in Hindi, Haritamanjari in Sanskrit, Kuppi Chettu in Telugu, Herbochet in French, Kuppamania in Sinhala and Anupali in Bengali.

Traditionally kuppaimeni has been used to get rid of unwanted hair growth, to treat skin problems such as acne, psoriasis and eczema, to get rid of coughs and colds, and also to treat pimples.

At the beginning of the first rain these plants germinate everywhere by seeds. Now that it is constantly raining here, the whole farm is covered with Kuppinta plants.

In some parts of the world, people who have been poisoned by taking kuppintaku and those who are food poisoned can take a teaspoon of juice with salt to relieve vomiting. It should not be taken as it can cause vomiting if taken in large quantities. The juice of this leaf can be crushed with salt and put in pippin tax to kill the germs in it and get relief from toothache.

Also, the juice of this leaf can be massaged into the gums and teeth and then washed off with lukewarm water to reduce gum and tooth infections and make them stronger. The leaf juice is warmed and mixed with common salt and applied warmly to the ear to reduce earwax, infections and pain. Just have to be lukewarm. Should not be hot. It should not be taken in the diet. It is used only in remedies, especially for the treatment of skin diseases.
