If you have these symptoms then you are going to have diabetes soon. Get tested right away – our health

Diabetes or diabetes occurs before the age of twenty. How can you tell if you have diabetes? Early symptoms include high levels of glucose and sugar in your blood. Some people may not be diagnosed with diabetes until they have chronic problems with the disease.

In type 1 diabetes, symptoms usually subside quickly over days or weeks. They are also very serious.

Early signs of diabetes

Both types of diabetes have similar warning signs.

Hunger and fatigue. Your body converts the food you eat into glucose which your cells use for energy. But your cells need insulin to take in glucose. If your body does not produce enough or any insulin, or if your cells block the insulin your body makes, glucose will not enter them and you will not have energy. This can lead to frequent hunger pangs as well as more fatigue than usual.

The average person who urinates more often and is over thirty usually needs to urinate four to seven times in 24 hours, but people with diabetes can go even further. Why? Normally, water in your body reabsorbs glucose as it passes through your kidneys. When diabetes pushes your blood sugar up, your kidneys may not be able to bring water back. This causes the body to excrete more urine, and it consumes more fluids. That is why you have to urinate more often.

Dry mouth and itchy skin. As your body uses more fluids to make urine, other things will have less moisture. You will suffer from dehydration, and your mouth may feel dry. Dry skin can make you itchy.

Vision defects. Changing the fluid levels in your body can cause the nerves in your eyes to swell. They change shape and can not focus on anything.

Yeast infection. These can occur in both men and women with diabetes. Infections are most likely to occur in any warm, moist fold of skin, including:

Between the toes

In the narrow space below the breasts

In or around the sex organs

Sores or cuts do not go away quickly.

Over time, high blood sugar can affect your blood flow and damage nerve health, making it harder for your body to heal wounds.

Pain or numbness in your feet or legs. This is another result of nerve damage.

Weight loss without planning. Nausea and vomiting are also symptoms.

Velvet, darker skin changes in neck, armpits and groin, known as Acanthosis nigricans

Numbness and tingling in the hands and feet

Erectile Dysfunction (ED)

Consult a doctor as soon as you notice these symptoms to reduce your risk of diabetes complications.
